Terms & Conditions
Last updated:
These terms set out what you can expect from ThermoCare, what we ask of you in return, and the limits of what wellness therapy can be held to.
1. Accepting these terms
By using this website or requesting an appointment through it, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site or the request form. These terms apply alongside our privacy policy and medical disclaimer, which form part of the same agreement.
2. Who we are and what we provide
ThermoCare Wellness Centre operates a wellness and therapy centre at 11, 5th Cross Rd, Near Kamakya Theater, Kamakya Layout, Banashankari 3rd Stage, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560085. The registered business details are: [ENTITY TYPE AND REGISTRATION DETAILS].
We provide supportive wellness therapies: Acupuncture, Reflexology, Massage Therapy, Hot Stone Massage, Foot Massage, Spine Care Support, Joint Pain Care. These are comfort-focused, non-diagnostic therapies. They are not medical treatment and do not replace care from a qualified healthcare professional. Section 8 and our medical disclaimer set this out in full.
3. Appointments and requests
The centre works by appointment. Sending the form on this website, or messaging us on WhatsApp, creates a request, not a booking.
A request is not a confirmed appointment until someone from ThermoCare replies to confirm the day and time.
In practice:
- We aim to reply to requests within 24 hours, though this is an aim and not a guarantee.
- Our usual hours are Monday – Saturday, 9:30 AM – 8:00 PM; Sunday, By appointment.
- Timings can change. Please call to confirm before travelling to the centre.
- A preferred date or time on the form is treated as a preference, not a held slot.
4. Cancelling, rescheduling and missed appointments
Please tell us as early as you can if you need to change or cancel a confirmed appointment, so the slot can be offered to someone else.
[CANCELLATION POLICY: state the notice period required, and whether any charge applies to late cancellations or missed appointments.]
If we have to change your appointment, because a practitioner is unwell, for instance, we will contact you on the number you gave us and offer the earliest alternative we can.
5. Fees and payment
Charges depend on the therapy and the length of the session, so prices are not published on this website. Please call or message us for current rates before booking. Any figure quoted to you is valid for the session discussed and may change afterwards.
[PAYMENT TERMS: state accepted payment methods, when payment is due, and the refund position.]
6. Your responsibilities
Therapy is safe when we know what we are working with. You are responsible for giving us accurate information, and for keeping it current if it changes between sessions.
Before your session, please tell your practitioner about:
- Any injury, surgery or medical condition, including anything recently diagnosed
- Pregnancy, or if you think you may be pregnant
- Medicines you are taking, particularly blood-thinning medication
- Implanted devices such as a pacemaker
- Skin conditions, infections, wounds, rashes or recent changes to your skin
- Any area of your body you would prefer to be left alone
We also ask that you:
- Give correct contact details when you request an appointment
- Arrive at the agreed time, and let us know if you are running late
- Follow the guidance your practitioner gives during and after a session
- Treat our practitioners, staff and other clients with respect
- Do not attend under the influence of alcohol or recreational drugs
7. Suitability and our right to decline
Not every therapy suits every person, and this can only be judged in person. A practitioner may decline to begin a session, adapt what was planned, or stop partway through, if they believe continuing would not be appropriate or safe for you. Where that happens, we will explain why and suggest what might be more suitable, including seeing a doctor first.
You are equally free to pause, change or stop a session at any point without giving a reason. Every step is explained before it begins, and you set the pace.
8. What our services are not
ThermoCare provides wellness and therapy support. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Results vary from person to person, and no outcome is promised. For severe pain, injury, chronic illness or a medical emergency, consult a qualified healthcare professional.
Our medical disclaimer explains this in detail and forms part of these terms. Please read it before booking.
9. Health and safety at the centre
We follow careful hygiene practices and use single-use, sterile needles for acupuncture, disposed of after every session. Please do not attend if you have a fever or a contagious illness; call us instead and we will move your appointment without fuss.
Please look after your own belongings while at the centre. We cannot accept responsibility for personal property that is lost or damaged on the premises.
